Sojourn prefers to divide larger groups into teams of 8-12 people with each team having a trained facilitator. This size allows for the most beneficial group dynamics for activities and allows our facilitators to give appropriate attention to each individual.
We have hosted groups as small as 4 people and as large as 300 people! Contact us with details aout your group and let us design a program to meet your needs!
What are the age requirements to participate?
Many of our activities involve a component of risk. As we keep safety as our first priority, there are some age-requirements on various activities. Some activities are appropriate for children as young as 6 years old, with others requiring a minimum age of 10 or 12 for participation. Most age requirements on listed on images throughout our site, but feel free to contact us for specific limitations.
Our participant requirements meet or exceed the Association of Challenge Course Technology (ACCT) standards to ensure risks are minimized in our programming.

Participants under the age of 18, should bring a printed confirmation that the online activity waiver that was signed by a parent/legal guardian (Activity Waiver) .
Water is available on site, but we recommend that each person bring a water bottle. Leave your valuables (jewelry, nice watches, wallets) at home or in the car. You are welcomed to bring your phones to take photos if you like.

You will be moving around a lot and primarily outside. Dress appropriately for the weather, and wear items you don't mind getting a little dirty while being comfortable.
What are the weight restrictions?
For high adventure activities, we operate with a maximum weight of 275 lbs for most activities (note: Canopy Tour weight limit is 250 lbs). Don't worry - the capacity of all elements and gear is FAR greater than this, but these standards are in place to maintain industry standards.
There is no minimum weight restriction on the course and we have a variety of equipment on site to fit participants of various sizes.
What if some people in my group are afraid of heights?
It's very common that groups will have some individuals who prefer not to get off the ground. All our programs operate within a framework of individual choice and we will not force individuals to complete activities against their will. Our intent is to create environments where all participants feel safe to participate OR to opt out of certain activities. In addition we can always customize programs with little/no high adventure activities involved if you prefer.
Do you have meeting space available on site?
We sure do! Whether you desire to add on a meeting before, after, or as an integral portion of your team building program, we have a variety of meeting spaces available. In addition, indoor activities can be utilized for many groups as an inclement weather back up or as pre-planned portion of your adventure. Note: Meeting space is only available as an “add on” to a team-building program and not as a stand alone event.
Note: Extra fees may apply for meeting space outside of your ropes course programming.
Is Sojourn a part of Perimeter Church? How does that work?
Yes. Sojourn is a ministry of Perimeter Church. All of our staff are Christians and we strive to lead programs according to Biblical principles. About half of our events are faith-based and about half are not. We work with all sorts of groups from our community and are able to facilitate Christian-focused events, but we also respect that not everyone desires this and are careful to honor and respect different view points.
Can I participate if I am pregnant?
First of all, congratulations! Participation in activities that take place on the ground is permitted only with permission from your doctor. Any activity that takes place off the ground or requires the use of a harness is not permitted.
